In a mysterious and surreal buffer zone between Tehran and Winnipeg, the lives of several characters intersect in surprising and mysterious ways. Elementary school students Negin and Nazgol find a sum of money frozen in the winter ice and try to recover it. Meanwhile, Massoud leads an increasingly confused group of tourists through Winnipeg’s iconic and historic sites. Matthew quits his meaningless job at the Québec government office and embarks on a mysterious journey to find his mother. Space, time, and personal identities intertwine, intersect, and resonate in a surreal comedy of disorientation.
