For centuries, humans have called upon the universe for answers—in Disney and Pixar’s new film “Elio,” the universe is calling back! The original film follows Elio, an alien with a vivid imagination who is accidentally transported into the Communverse, an interplanetary organization with representatives from distant galaxies. Misidentified as Earth’s ambassador to the rest of the universe, Elio is completely unprepared for the pressure. He must form new bonds with eccentric alien life forms, endure a series of difficult trials, and somehow discover who he is truly meant to be.
